426 Hemi Cuda engine from Revell

Kit / Model

Plymouth 426 Hemi Cuda

Manufacturer

Revell

Item Code

85-1442

Scale

1/6

Description

I wanted to build some of these kits since time ago, finally I bought few of them and placed at the workbench.
The models are very well done from Liberty Models offered already assembled, and packaged as kit by Revell-Monogram. Some main parts are diecast and all them are prepainted.
I only added some details, painted the electric generator (alternator) and applied washes and a bit of drybrush.
The result is impressive, and having in account that only needed 5 hours to be built and was cheap, it's really worth all the way. Purists could superdetail this up an inimaginable point, in fact some companies as GMP offered SUPER detailed engines.
This is an easy project, clean and quiet, if you like those old monster engines, this is for you.
