Ferrari 312T2 1976 Monaco Grand Prix Winner

Kit / Model

Ferrari 312T2 1976 Monaco Grand Prix Winner

Manufacturer

Hasegawa

Item Code

FG1

Scale

1/20

Description

As reported, the detail and moulding quality is quite high -- better than the Tamiya 312T3. The plastic is typical Hasegawa -- hard and somewhat brittle. The part/sprue layout is simple.
Goodyear stickers are included and the white decals appear much more opaque than Tamiyas.
The photo etched and turned aluminum upgrade parts are very high quality.
One funny thing I noted about the 312T2 kit: Hasegawa misspelled Clay Regazzoni in the rather prominent driver name decal ("Rezazzoni")!
All in all, it is an excellent kit.

I think this is the car in which Niki Lauda got almost killed in the old Nurbürgring. As far as I know there was only a version of this model in 1/12 scale (Protar), and this is a nice addition, if only for the scale.

Thank you for the pictures of the kit, it looks nice.
