Winter silence

A little vignette of a German Sdkfz 250 halftrack in a winter wooded glen, very cold, very still and very quiet. Scene starts with the 250 kit by Tamiya, painted a panzer grey then drybrushed with white to represent the whitewash camo. A wash of black was put on to tone down the white. Much gear was added inside and out, painted and weathered accordingly. Figures were taken from various Tamiya kits and modified, driver and co-driver were also added. The ground cover is quite simply white sand balast found at craft stores or in model train shops. The woods were made from cutting up a stick broom
and gluing into the snow one at a time.
Lastly, a bundle of firewood was glued to the front of the halftrack, this item would have been a crew preference.
