Me110G4

This model is a real Frankenstin: basically it’s the beautiful Me 110 G2 from Revell (the box contains lot of parts useful for G4). The interiors come from Aires and details like the radar antennas and exhaust from the Mauve G4 (based on Fujimy Me 110 D) nice but not so correct in size. Adapt the Aires kit is demanding job as usually but the final result is worth to. The weak point of the Revell kit is the clear part of canopy: well detailed but undersized. The only solution I found has been to reduce the fuselage size in the corresponding section and “force� the canopy in site using Ciano acrylic glue. Decals are provided by a Tally Ho decal sheet dedicated to the night fighter 110 versions. Reference for this specific aircraft can be found in the Walk Around published by Squadron Signal.
