15 cm Sturm-Infanteriegeschütz auf Panzer III

Kit / Model

15 cm Sturm-Infanteriegeschütz auf Pz. III

Manufacturer

Dragon

Item Code

6042

Scale

1/35

Description

This an old Dragon model from 1996.

To enhance the model details, I added:

- New suspension from a Tamiya Panzer III Ausf L.
- Metal tracks.
- PE details.
- Metal rivets and bolts.
- Gun and MG metal barrels.
- Parts from other models (fire extinguisher, jack, and axe)

The hull numbers and fender tactical insignia were stencil painted, and for the Balkan cross I used dry transfers.

The model was initially painted with a spray primer, and then was airbrushed painted gray acrylic paint as a base color.

Weathering was done using filters, oils, and pigment powders.
