Lamborghini Cheetah 1/12 scale

Kit / Model

Cheetah

Manufacturer

Tamiya

Item Code

58004

Scale

1/12

Description

Well this body is a very complex build. Since the beginning you have to decide what to do with the windshield. I chose to glue the parts and mask the acetate and then to glue the full frame in the body in order to paint whole in just on step. The interior was paint semigloss german grey, masked and painted beige.

The beige was a headcache, it must be semigloss, nor matt neither gloss, the finishing must be semigloss. I spent many hours mixing paints, and the best color was XF2 + X2 plus 10 % brown plus yellow to get the color, looks terrific and the right finishing and texture.

I began with a brown was and still working in the weathering with pigments, net will be oils and then pigments again.

I want a well used desert car, no broken or excessively dust but the weathering is essential to make the difference between a toy and a model.
