Ford Model T Roadster

Kit / Model

1909 Ford Model T

Manufacturer

Gabriel

Item Code

N/A

Scale

1/20

Description

Gabriel is since long vanished from the kit markets. The zamac models are still known under license from "Hubley" and more recently "Scale Models". They are old castings, so you know there is work involved. But it is possible to convert them in a very convincing model.

This model is not a standard box build, it has a modified floor from which a large portion has been machined away to carry out detail work on the underside. Engine block has been corrected in shape. A fuel tank with lines, fuel filter, spare wheel holders, cabling and hosing have been added. Wheel hubs have been machined from scratch, hood canvas is added, spare wheel holders scratched built and lots of little details added or altered.
