Bandai 1:16 Rolls Royce 1908 Silver Ghost Balloon Car

Most awesome kit I've had the pleasure of building. Originally produced by Bandai, later released by Entex, now out of production. Made in Japan. Has 346+ parts, very detailed - some notable features of the kit:

- Wheels are not plastic molded. Jigs and black vinyl thread are provided for hand-lacing the spokes, for utmost fidelity.

- Some plastic parts were molded to simulate wood, both color and grain, and is incredibly realistic.

The following modifications were made during the build:

- Used #26 gauge wire for the spokes instead of supplied vinyl thread, so it can be painted (white)

- Replaced plastic lamp handles with brass wire

- Hand-fashioned headlight bulbs, otherwise you see an empty cavity in front headlights!

- Added copper piping to gas tank valves

- Replaced molded air valves in the wheel, with metal stubs

- Added inner handle to left passenger door

- Ample use of metal tape throughout
