The Coral Blue of the caribean!!

Kit / Model

Leyton House CG901

Manufacturer

Tamiya

Item Code

20028

Scale

1/20

Description

This is my first F1 model I made, I dont know about F1 winners or something like that, but I know I really love this color and its combination with green, the contrast between the coral blue and the green is espectacular! I Paint it with Tamiya Coral Blue Spray, and the green was painted mixing some tamiya acrilycs, (Green and Park Green) The decals were used from a Museum Collection decalset, and it has a PE set form Studio27 (aileron plates, disc brake rotors, engine restraint cables, aileron fixing tensors, body catchpins, seatbelt buckles, engine head "JUDD" plates and so on. The carbon fiber effect was made scratching the plastic pieces with a 240 sand grit. an then painted with tamiya X18 Acrylic. The exhaust smoke effects, were painted with some tamiya acrylics mixings (Smoke, Clear Orange, Clear Yellow, Clear Red and Clear Blue and flat base) applied with my Badger 150 airbrush. The body was polished with automotive 3M Hand Glaze. The seatbelt tape, were simulated with blue electrical tape.
